Getting away from it all doesn't mean cashing in miles and checking in luggage. Here's 3 easy ways to escape the everyday madness without even leaving town.
Escape #1 - Get Out There
Go for a walk, go to the park, just get out and go! Take the time to empty your head.
Escape #2 - Mute the Gadgets, Make Some Tea, Read A Book
Mute all the electronics that make noise in your life, make a cup of tea, and grab a book. Preferably a real paper book so you're not tempted to quickly check emails or beat level 578 in Candy Crush while on your book reader app ;)
Escape #3 - Light A Candle, Turn off the Lights, Wash It Away
Light your favorite candle, turn off the lights, and draw a warm bath or take a warm shower with a relaxing bar of High Street Soap. Breathe deep and empty your mind while relaxing in the warm water and calming candlelight. I may be biased, but this is one of my favorite ways to escape.
